THE GREAT GATSBY

                Nick Carraway was born in the Middle West. After coming back from the War, he decided to move from his hometown. Finally, he found a little house on Long Island. He had a neighbor named Gatsby.

                One day, he met his cousin, Daisy. Daisy was married to Tom Buchanan. They were very rich but careless. Daisy had a sister, Jordan Baker, a popular golf player. When Nick met Tom and Daisy, he knew that that was something not right with them. Tom had a woman in New York, and Daisy knew it. The woman was Myrtle Wilson, that was married to George Wilson. Tom and Nick went to see Myrtle and asked her to go to New York. George thought that his wife went to New York to see her sister. They had party in Myrtle’s apartment, actually she was glamorous. In the party, the talked about a man named Gatsby. No one knew who Gatsby truly was.

                As Gatsby’s neighbor, Nick knew what Gatsby usually do. Gatsby gave party a lot. His house was full of music and light. Many stranger came to his party, and he did not care about it. Finally, Nick met Gatsby and they were friends now. Gatsby told him that he was the son of rich people in the Middle West and he educated in Oxford. Nick was hard to believe him. Gatsby told him that she had known Daisy since five years ago. They were lover, but Daisy was married to another man. Gatsby really wanted to met Daisy. Nick invited Daisy to his house. Daisy did not know that she would meet Gatsby. When she met Gatsby, she looked very happy. They had long conversation. Gatsby asked Daisy to divorce with her husband. But Daisy thought that it was too much. Suddenly, Tom Buchanan understood that Daisy was in love with Gatsby. It was a big fight between them. Then, Gatsby and Daisy had gone.

                Daisy was really angry. So, Gatsby let her to drive the car. He thought it would relieve her. Suddenly, their car hit someone. It was Myrtle Wilson, she was dead. Daisy was panic and she did not stop the car. Many people thought that Gatsby was the one who drove the car. George Wilson was very angry. He went to Gatsby’s house and shot him. After doing that, George shot himself. No one came to the funeral. There were only Nick, Gatsby’s father, the fat man, and the minister. Daisy even did not send a flower. It was so sad. Finally, Nick knew who Gatsby was. He was the son of poor people. But he followed a rich people named Dan Cody. Dan Cody was dead. Gatsby did not get any of the old man’s money. But he learned how to rich live.
